At Japan Treasures, we ship internationally from Japan.
Please review the following shipping policy carefully before placing an order.


■ Shipping Method

All orders are shipped from Japan via DHL or FedEx with full tracking.
Once shipped, tracking information will be provided.


■ Shipping Address (Important)

Orders are shipped only to the address provided at checkout.

Address changes after an order has been shipped are not possible

We do not redirect or resend shipments to a different address or country

 

This policy is strictly followed to comply with payment protection and fraud prevention requirements.


■ Customs, Duties & Taxes

All customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and any documents required for customs clearance
are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Depending on the destination country, the carrier or customs authority may request:

Personal identification numbers (e.g. Tax ID, SSN, etc.)

Additional documentation or payments

 

Failure to provide the required information within the carrier’s deadline may result in delays or return of the shipment.


■ Shipping & Customs Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

Customs inspections or clearance procedures

Weather conditions or natural events

Carrier operations (DHL / FedEx)

 

Once the parcel has been handed over to the carrier, delivery is managed by the shipping company.


■ Refused, Undelivered, or Returned Shipments

If a shipment is returned due to:

Failure to provide required customs information
Refusal to pay duties or taxes
Delivery refusal, absence, or storage expiration
Mismatch between delivery address and recipient eligibility

the return will be treated as buyer-caused.

In such cases, any refund will be issued after deducting:

Any actual shipping costs incurred
Return shipping costs
Any customs or carrier fees incurred
