Refund & Return Policy

At Japan Treasures, we specialize exclusively in vintage and pre-owned items.
Please read the following policy carefully before placing an order.

■ Return Eligibility (14 Days)

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery only if the item is significantly not as described.

We do not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind

  • Personal preference

  • Misunderstanding of product details

  • Buyer’s circumstances

  • Vintage characteristics clearly stated in the description

All items are sold as vintage/pre-owned goods and may show signs of age or prior use.

■ Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must be:

  • In the same condition as received

  • Not altered, disassembled, or damaged after delivery

  • Properly packed for return shipment

We reserve the right to refuse refunds if the returned item does not meet these conditions.

■ Customs, Duties & Buyer Responsibility

Customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and any documents required for customs clearance
are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

If a shipment is returned due to:

  • Failure to provide required customs information

  • Refusal to pay duties or taxes

  • Delivery refusal or non-collection

the return will be treated as buyer-caused.

■ Refund Amount for Buyer-Caused Returns

For buyer-caused returns, refunds will be issued after deducting:

Any actual shipping costs incurred
Return shipping costs
Any customs-related or carrier fees incurred

Refunds are processed only after the item has been returned and inspected.

■ Refund Method & Timing

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow several business days after inspection for processing.

■ Final Notes

We value transparency and fair transactions.
